Zimbabwean-born, South African-raised, studying Computer Science in Canada — both watching AI capabilities compound while access remained flat for the places they grew up.
The models were ready. The channels were in place. Nobody had built the layer between them — because the people building AI didn't need to. We did. So we built TAUR.
The name
TAUR.ai, spoken aloud, becomes Taurai.
In Shona, taurai means “let us speak” — a reclamation of voice. The mark itself is drawn from Black Panther's horned crest.
