Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the TAUR platform and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Mutendi Sambaza (“TAUR”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or content that violates applicable messaging regulations (e.g. TCPA, GDPR).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or data.
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without notice.

2. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable and available service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible. Current service status is published at status.taur.ai.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and restricting access to your account.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including data protection and telecommunications laws.
  • Obtaining any necessary consents from end users before sending them messages through the Service.
  • Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.

You must notify us immediately at security@taur.ai if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Intellectual Property

The TAUR name, logo, platform, and all content we create are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited licence to use it.

You retain ownership of all content and data you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). By submitting Your Content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

You warrant that Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights and that you have the right to grant us the above licence.

5. Payments and Billing

Paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page or in your order. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated at the time of purchase. We may update pricing with 30 days' notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TAUR and its operator from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or, where arbitration is not available, in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or a prominent in-product notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
